The task

Currently, performing side effects (mutations, logging, etc.) within Grafast plans requires a hacky workaround: users create a `lambda()` step and then manually set a `hasSideEffects` flag on it. This pattern is type-unsafe, unintuitive, and not considered a first-class API.
