When testing code that mixes timers (`setTimeout`, `setInterval`) with microtasks (promises, `async`/`await`), developers currently need to write manual microtask-flushing steps between `jest.advanceTimersByTime()` calls. This is cumbersome, couples tests to implementation details, and is a common source of confusion.
