The `floor`, `ceil`, and `fix` functions sometimes return the rounded value instead of the correct floor or ceil when the fractional part is close to 0.5. This occurs for both regular JavaScript numbers and `BigNumber` instances, especially when tolerance settings (`relTol` and `absTol`) are configured.
