The task
Since Linux kernel commit `46a87b3851f0d6eb05e6d83d5c5a30df0eca8f76` (v5.7+), the scheduler no longer guarantees that a process entering a cgroup cpuset lands on the first CPU of that set. Instead, the kernel distributes the task randomly across the allowed CPUs.
