The CRoaring library provides `roaring_bitmap_rank()` to compute the rank (number of elements ≤ a value) of a single element. When users need the rank of many elements, they currently have to call `roaring_bitmap_rank()` in a loop. This is inefficient, especially when the queries are sorted.
