When configuring custom checks, the `subMatch` field in a `matchSpec` is supposed to allow nested condition evaluation. This works correctly when the parent attribute refers to a **block** (list of nested blocks), but it silently fails when the attribute is a **map or object** — for example, a `tags = { … }` attribute.
