The task

This happens because the norpc code path still tries to shim through the RPC layer even though `_LAMBDA_SERVER_PORT` is not defined. The Runtime API endpoint (`AWS_LAMBDA_RUNTIME_API`) is set, but the invoke loop does not use it correctly, leading to the crash.
