The endpoint discovery middleware caches `*url.URL` values and returns the same pointer to multiple goroutines. When concurrent requests (e.g., Timestream `WriteRecords`) modify the URL (Host, Scheme, Path, RawQuery, Fragment, User, etc.) the changes corrupt the URL seen by other in‑flight requests.
