Currently, configuration values read from files (INI, YAML, JSON, XML) are returned as plain strings without any interpretation. If a value contains a reference like `${GOPATH}` or `${GOPATH||/home/go}`, it is not expanded – the literal string `${GOPATH}` is returned.
