**Problem** The Soter cryptographic engine currently uses deprecated OpenSSL functions and types (`EC_KEY*`, `EC_GROUP*`, `EC_POINT*`) for elliptic curve key operations. When compiling with OpenSSL 3.0 these APIs trigger deprecation warnings and may be removed in future versions. The following operations are affected:
