The task
The codecarbon library currently gathers hardware power metrics only through Intel Power Gadget and RAPL. On Macs with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) these collectors are unavailable, so no energy data is captured, causing the tracker to silently miss power consumption — tracking is effectively broken on these machines.
