When running Apache Zeppelin (or any Java application) on Java 9 or later, the JVM option `MaxPermSize` causes a fatal error because this option was removed in Java 9. The Permanent Generation (PermGen) space was replaced by Metaspace starting from Java 8, and the `MaxPermSize` option was completely removed in Java 9.
