Implement a solution that avoids redundant preprocessing computations when using scikit-learn's `GridSearchCV` with a pipeline. When tuning only the estimator's hyperparameters (not the preprocessor's), the preprocessing step should be computed only once per CV fold rather than once per fold per parameter combination.
